The MacDougall Collection is a museum in the making. It is not currently in a museum setting and is still being cataloged and documented. The collection tells the story of domestic life in the Highlands and Islands for the past 200 years. It includes approximately 5000 objects from the land and from the sea. Much of the collection is the effort of Hope MacDougall who was an avid collector and archivist. Other articles of historical interest from the Clan will also be in the Museum Centre.
